B2PURE® REGULAR is the proven drop-in replacement for standard road asphalt. Produced in-situ at the mixing plant, it replaces conventional bitumen in standard hot-mix processes without modification of existing equipment.
The bio-based formula enables lower processing temperatures, reduces greenhouse gas emissions and is fully compatible with high RAP (recycled asphalt pavement) ratios – making it ideal for sustainable road rehabilitation.

Roofing Membranes
B2PURE® LIGHT is optimised as a bio-based binder for roofing membranes and thin-layer surface applications. It replaces the petrochemical bitumen component in flat-roof membranes with comparable or superior elasticity and weather resistance.
Lower processing temperatures and the absence of solvents improve occupational safety. Every installed square metre carries a significantly lower CO₂ footprint compared to conventional bitumen membranes.

Airport Runways
Aviation imposes the most stringent requirements for load-bearing capacity and durability. B2PURE® STARK (HCR 180) was the first bio-based bitumen deployed on an airport runway – at Biggin Hill Airport, United Kingdom.
The project demonstrated aviation-grade performance and has been established as B2SQUARE's reference for high-load applications. Frankfurt Airport (Fraport AG) followed as the second major airport deployment in October 2024.
In May 2025 Biggin Hill Airport followed, with London Heathrow later the same year.
